FCC Chairman Julian Genachowski Resigns

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 10:40 PM EDT) -- Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski announced Friday he is stepping down from his post in the coming weeks.

Genachowski, whose time at the commission marked its push to expand available wireless broadband spectrum for mobile Internet services, said he was "deeply grateful" to President Obama for the opportunity to head the agency.
