Deutsche Broker Gets 3 1/2 Years In Jenkens Tax Fraud

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 7:00 PM EDT) -- A former Deutsche Bank AG broker was sentenced Friday in New York federal court to 42 months in prison for conspiring with lawyers at Jenkens & Gilchrist PC in a tax evasion fraud that prosecutors have labeled the largest in history.

David Parse was convicted in May 2011 of two tax fraud-related charges for allegedly conspiring with attorneys at Jenkens' Chicago office to create tax shelters that helped wealthy clients avoid U.S. taxes.
