Alzheimer's Institute Seeks New Trial In UPenn Patent Row

Law360, Philadelphia (April 16, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- The Alzheimer’s Institute of America Inc. on Tuesday asked a Pennsylvania federal judge to overturn a jury ruling that the University of Pennsylvania and an offshoot did not infringe patents covering Alzheimer’s disease detection, arguing that it had been assigned the patents by the sole inventor of the technology.
