Joining US, EU Probes Diabetes Drugs' Safety

Law360, New York (March 26, 2013, 6:51 PM EDT) -- Europe's top drug watchdog kicked off an investigation Tuesday into findings that diabetes drugs made by Merck & Co. Inc., AstraZeneca PLC and others may cause precancerous changes in the pancreas, weeks after U.S. regulators launched a similar probe.
