EEOC V. US Steel Gives New Hope To Employers

Law360, New York (March 28, 2013, 12:04 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania has dismissed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission challenge to U.S. Steel Corporation’s random alcohol testing of probationary employees at one of the company’s most safety-sensitive facilities. EEOC v. U.S. Steel Corp., No. 10-1248 (W.D. Pa. Feb. 20, 2013).
