Rival Hollywood Media End Suit Over Stolen Source Code

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 3:25 PM EDT) -- The owner of The Hollywood Reporter has agreed to pay $162,500 to end a copyright suit brought by the owner of rival entertainment industry publication Deadline.com over allegations that the Reporter lifted source code from its competitor's television news site TVLive.com, according to court documents filed in California federal court.
