Citing Comcast, High Court Sends Whirlpool Suit To 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 12:37 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday vacated a Sixth Circuit decision upholding the certification of a class of consumers suing Whirlpool Corp. over allegedly defective washing machines, instructing the appeals court to reconsider the ruling in light of its Comcast Corp. v. Behrend decision last week.
