Sacramento Faces Suit Over $447M Kings Arena Project

Law360, Los Angeles (April 3, 2013, 6:28 PM EDT) -- The Coalition for Responsible Arena Development said Tuesday that it will sue the city of Sacramento over its $447 million deal to build an arena downtown aimed at stopping the Kings basketball team from moving to Seattle.

The group said in a notice of intent filed in California state court that it will challenge the city's approval of a term sheet to build and operate the arena, claiming it flouted the California Environmental Quality Act by not conducting environmental reviews before signing off on the plan....
