Baker Botts Balks At "Baseless" Disqualification Bid

Law360, New York (January 02, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Baker Botts LLP is fighting Ring Plus Inc.'s bid to prevent it from representing Cingular Wireless LLC in a ring-back patent spat based on its alleged improper contacts with a Ring Plus director.

The firm says Ring Plus' lawyer had assured it that the man in question was not a director at all.
