Pepper Hamilton Disputes Philly Union Boss On 'Public' Docs

Law360, Philadelphia (April 4, 2013, 6:17 PM EDT) -- Pepper Hamilton LLP hit back Wednesday at claims by Philadelphia union leader John Dougherty that the firm’s attorneys revealed confidential information from a 2006 federal investigation to gain advantage in his suit against The Philadelphia Inquirer, another firm client, arguing that the details were publicly available.

Dougherty had claimed that Pepper Hamilton sought to publicly humiliate him and gain an advantage in his ongoing defamation suit against The Philadelphia Inquirer through shady legal maneuvering, but the firm maintained that these allegations were groundless.
