Slaughterhouse Funder Says Beef Recall Suit Lacks Damages

Law360, New York (April 5, 2013, 5:48 PM EDT) -- Slaughterhouse financier Cattleman's Choice Inc. is still asking the court for partial summary judgment in a lawsuit over one of the largest beef recalls in U.S. history, insisting Thursday the government has the burden of proof to show damages over meat that allegedly came from mistreated cows, not the other way around.
