Microsoft Sells Internet-TV Platform Mediaroom To Ericsson

Law360, Los Angeles (April 8, 2013, 7:33 PM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. will sell its Internet-television software platform Mediaroom to Ericsson Inc. in a deal that will make the Swedish company the world's biggest provider of Internet Protocol TV and multiscreen services with a market share of more than 25 percent, Ericsson announced Monday.
