Landmark Hudson Yards Lease Will Spur More West Side Deals

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 6:26 PM EDT) -- The closing this week of three major anchor leases at New York's highly touted Hudson Yards project will likely encourage a more concerted move westward among retail and tech tenants looking for a respite from expensive Midtown rents.

Coach Inc. put in $750 million to anchor the 1.7-million-square-foot south tower, while the U.S. affiliate of French cosmetics company L'Oreal SA and German software company SAP AG also announced leases on several floors of the building at 30th Street and 10th Avenue on Wednesday.
