Apple, Asus Targeted In Wi-Fi Patent Blitz

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 3:23 PM EDT) -- A Delaware corporation fired off a flurry of patent suits Thursday that accuse Apple Inc., Asustek Computer Inc. and other handheld device and computer manufacturers of infringing a patented technology for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data via a wireless network.

Wyncomm LLC, which also filed suits in Delaware federal court against Bonac Innovation Corp., Casio Computer Co. Ltd., Blu Products Inc. and Acer Inc., said the defendants infringed at least one claim of its patent with “specific intent or willful blindness” after Wyncomm alerted...
