Meningitis Plaintiffs' Litigation Team Named In NECC Case

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 4:32 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge this week established a steering committee in centralized litigation against the bankrupt New England Compounding Center over a deadly nationwide meningitis outbreak, naming Thomas Sobol of Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP as lead counsel.

Sobol will lead the six attorneys named to the plaintiff’s steering committee Tuesday in wrangling more than 100 lawsuits over injuries allegedly caused by NECC's tainted steroids, which were consolidated in Massachusetts in February.
