Pa. Consumer Agency Questions $720M EQT, Peoples Merger

Law360, Philadelphia (April 12, 2013, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Officials from the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate told state utility regulators Thursday that they should hold off on approving the $720 million sale of an EQT Corp. subsidiary to rival Peoples Natural Gas until the companies proved the deal was in the best interest of ratepayers.
