Thompson Hine Atty Didn’t Defame Ex-Secretary, Judge Says

Law360, New York (April 12, 2013, 6:49 PM EDT) -- A Thompson Hine LLP partner and his wife’s emails discussing the absences and mental condition of the partner’s former secretary following the birth of her child are protected by spousal privilege and do not amount to defamation, a New York federal judge ruled Tuesday.
