Dish Makes $25.5B Offer For Sprint, Challenging SoftBank

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT) -- Dish Network Corp. launched a $25.5 billion cash-and-stock bid for Sprint Nextel Corp. on Monday that could disrupt a signed-up $20.1 billion acquisition by SoftBank Corp. and, if it works, create one of America’s largest integrated media and telecom companies.
