Pro-Worker Bills May Create A Costly Future For Calif. Cos.

Law360, San Diego (April 15, 2013, 11:56 PM ET) -- A California measure seeking to expand protections for workers who are family caregivers and a proposal to raise the minimum wage are among the measures on the California Chamber of Commerce’s annual list of “job-killer” bills, released last week, that attorneys say would increase litigation against employers and drive up costs of doing business in the state.
