Yahoo Beats Privacy Suit Over Subpoenas In 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (April 15, 2013, 6:12 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Monday upheld the dismissal of a proposed class action against Yahoo Inc. alleging the company illegally shared a user’s private information with a Georgia criminal grand jury, saying although subpoenas for the information allegedly weren’t valid, the company is immune anyway.
