Tech Groups Seek Extension Of COPPA Compliance Deadline

Law360, New York (April 16, 2013, 9:52 PM EDT) -- A pair of online industry trade groups on Monday urged the Federal Trade Commission to give companies until January to comply with recent changes to the agency's online privacy rule for children, saying they need the six-month extension to better understand their expanded obligations.
