Natural Gas Tax Credit Bills Pass Pa. House

Law360, Philadelphia (April 18, 2013, 5:28 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania state house Wednesday passed three bills designed  to boost demand for natural gas by providing tax credits to companies looking either to convert their fleets to natural gas-powered vehicles or to construct natural gas refueling stations along the state's major highways.

The three measures, part of a seven-bill slate known as the Marcellus Works package, are intended to drive demand for natural gas from the state's burgeoning Marcellus Shale play and help create good manufacturing and construction jobs in related industries.
