Verizon Confirms Bid To Buy Airwaves From Clearwire

Law360, New York (April 18, 2013, 3:25 PM EDT) -- Verizon Communications Inc. verified Thursday that it had put in a bid to buy spectrum from Clearwire Corp., continuing the New York-based telecom giant's long-term strategy to buy up airwaves to improve the strength of its wireless network.
