Sports Mogul's $227M Outdoor Channel Buy Gets FTC's OK

Law360, Chicago (April 18, 2013, 6:36 PM EDT) -- Sports mogul Stan Kroenke won U.S. antitrust approval Wednesday for his $227 million takeover of Outdoor Channel Holdings Inc., which paid InterMedia Outdoors Holdings LLC a $6.5 million fee in order to terminate their merger agreement and take Kroenke's purchase offer instead.

The Federal Trade Commission published a notice saying it had granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
