Qualcomm Sanctioned $8.6M; 6 Lawyers Sent To Bar

Law360, New York (January 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A magistrate judge on Monday referred six of its attorneys to the California state bar for disciplinary action and imposed an $8.6 million sanction on microchip maker Qualcomm Inc., finding that they had withheld key evidence during discovery in a patent dispute with rival Broadcom Corp.
