Fla. High Court Asks DOJ To Weigh Immigrant Bar Admission

Law360, New York (April 18, 2013, 6:56 PM EDT) -- The Florida Supreme Court asked the U.S. Department of Justice on Thursday to weigh in on whether people who enter or remain in the U.S. without legal permission may be admitted to the Florida Bar, in a matter precipitated by a bar admission request from an immigrant who passed the Florida exam but is living in the country illegally.
