Cheaper, Faster Appeal Of Claims Rejections At USPTO

Law360, New York (October 25, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Appealing claims rejections at the USPTO will be cheaper and faster with the initial success of a pilot program at the patent-issuing agency. The program forces examiners to formally justify their decisions much sooner and with less financial burden to the applicant.
