Chemical Cos. Kick BPA Off Of Prop 65 List For Now

Law360, New York (April 22, 2013, 7:15 PM EDT) -- A California judge removed bisphenol A from the state's Proposition 65 list of substances potentially dangerous to human health on Friday, at least for the duration of chemical companies' lawsuit over the substance's addition to the list.

Judge Raymond Cadei granted the American Chemistry Council's motion for a preliminary injunction against the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment's listing of BPA as a known reproductive toxin on April 11. The agency removed the chemical from the list the same day the order was handed down....
