5th Circ. Speeds Up BP's Appeal Over Spill Claims Process

Law360, New York (April 23, 2013, 6:42 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Monday agreed to expedite BP PLC’s challenge to how a claims administrator is handling payments to Deepwater Horizon victims, granting the company’s request that briefing be concluded by the end of May but declining to halt payments before the appeal is heard.
