US Forest Service Dodges Dredge Mining Suit

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 9:27 PM EDT) -- An Oregon federal judge Tuesday threw out a suit that accused the U.S. Forest Service of violating the Endangered Species Act by allowing controversial mining techniques in the Siskiyou National Forest, finding the plaintiffs had been too vague in their intent-to-sue notice.
