FirstEnergy Units Get FERC OK To Shift Plant Ownership

Law360, New York (April 24, 2013, 6:41 PM EDT) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on Tuesday rejected calls by a West Virginia public advocacy group to block two FirstEnergy Service Co. subsidiaries from realigning their ownership stake in a $1.3 billion power plant under the FirstEnergy holding company system, leaving the matter in the hands of state energy regulators.
