Claims Against Wilson Sonsini Fail To Salvage Dot Com Suit

Law360, New York (April 25, 2013, 4:57 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in Washington state again tossed years-old claims Wednesday that Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC was part of a scheme to jack up stock prices during the dot com era, despite the complaint being amended to include law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as an alleged collaborator.

U.S. District Judge James L. Robart, considering the remanded case from the U.S. Supreme Court, ruled that Vanessa Simmonds' claims were still well past the two-year statute of limitations for such actions.
