France Reaps €707M From Sale Of Airbus Parent Stake

Law360, New York (April 26, 2013, 12:10 PM EDT) -- The French government has raised €707 million ($920 million) by selling 2.1 percent of its stake in Airbus SAS parent EADS NV, part of a broad agreement by European countries to reduce their stakes in the aerospace company, the Ministry for the Economy and Finance said Friday.

The ministry said France placed 17.6 million shares in the offering. The share were priced at roughly €40.20, a premium over recent placements of EADS stock by Daimler AG and Lagardere SCA.
