Tribal Fuel Deal Can't Be Retroactively Altered, DC Circ. Says

Law360, New York (April 30, 2013, 5:09 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Tuesday upheld a ruling that Quantum Entertainment Ltd.'s gasoline distribution deal with a tribal corporation was void for failure to seek U.S. Department of the Interior approval, finding the distributor couldn't retroactively apply a statutory amendment to the deal.
