Allbritton Eyes Sale Of TV Stations, But Won’t Deal Politico

Law360, New York (May 1, 2013, 3:52 PM EDT) -- Politico parent Allbritton Communications Co. said Wednesday it has hired Paul Hastings LLP and media specialists Dow Lohnes PLLC to explore a sale of the company’s television assets, but vowed to hold onto the valuable D.C. news outlet.

Allbritton said it would consider its options for its eight stations, seven of which are ABC affiliates and all of which are located in top-100 markets.
