4th Circ. Revives Wrongful Death Suit Over Marriott Attack

Law360, Chicago (May 1, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- The Fourth Circuit on Wednesday restored a lawsuit alleging Marriott International Inc. was liable for failing to adequately secure an Islamabad franchise hotel struck by a deadly terrorist attack in 2008, reversing a lower court's ruling that held Pakistan was an available and more convenient forum for the case.
