IBM Reveals DOJ Probe Into Alleged Global Corruption

Law360, New York (May 3, 2013, 12:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating allegations that IBM Corp. violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in its dealings with government officials in Poland, Argentina, Bangladesh and Ukraine, the technology giant said Tuesday.

Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM disclosed the probe in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The DOJ is also seeking information about IBM’s global FCPA compliance program and its public-sector business, the company said.
