Duane Reade Tries To Nix Class Action Bid

Law360, New York (January 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- An attempt by a group of Duane Reade Inc. assistant store managers to get their wage-and-hour collective action certified as a federal class action is being met with fierce opposition by the drugstore chain.

Duane Reade filed a memorandum Friday opposing the plaintiffs' October motion for class certification.
