US Offshore Regulators Will Beef Up Joint Oversight

Law360, New York (May 9, 2013, 3:41 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and the U.S. Coast Guard said Thursday that they would strengthen their shared oversight of the offshore oil industry by developing joint policies in the areas their authorities overlap, including joint inspections and evaluations of offshore operations.
