Deals Rumor Mill: Yahoo, Carlyle, Dish

The Silicon Valley company's embattled CEO, Marissa Mayer, met with Hulu's top brass earlier this month to discuss details of a potential offer. Hulu, which provides both free and for-pay Web access to television reruns, original series and movies, has drawn much investor interest as its popularity has risen. Amazon.com Inc. is among other companies said to be closing in on a bid. Hulu is currently jointly owned by News Corp., The Walt Disney Co. and Comcast Corp....
