By Karlee Weinmann (May 10, 2013, 1:49 PM EDT) -- Yahoo Inc., the erstwhile online powerhouse in need of a major move to recoup its status, is considering making a bid for video-streaming site Hulu LLC, sources told Bloomberg on Friday. The Silicon Valley company's embattled CEO, Marissa Mayer, met with Hulu's top brass earlier this month to discuss details of a potential offer. Hulu, which provides both free and for-pay Web access to television reruns, original series and movies, has drawn much investor interest as its popularity has risen.
