Sills Cummis Won't Get NJ High Court Review Of Rent Battle

Law360, New York (May 10, 2013, 7:47 PM EDT) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court won't take up Sills Cummis & Gross PC's challenge over the fair market rent for office space in Newark, N.J., leaving the firm to face its landlord's demands for more than $1.4 million in alleged back rent, late charges and legal expenses, according to an order made available Friday.

In the order, the court denied a petition for certification from the firm, which was hoping to upend an arbitration award and court decisions for landlord Matrix One Riverfront Plaza LLC....
