Holder Launches Probe Into IRS Scrutiny Of Tea Party Groups

Law360, Los Angeles (May 14, 2013, 9:25 PM EDT) -- U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said Tuesday that he had initiated a U.S. Department of Justice investigation into the Internal Revenue Service’s extra scrutiny of conservative organizations and Tea Party groups applying for tax-exempt status.
