Kirkland Reps Accenture In $316M Deal For Digital Marketer

Law360, New York (May 17, 2013, 7:34 PM EDT) -- Consulting firm Accenture PLC said Friday that it will pay $316 million to acquire digital marketing agency Acquity Group Ltd., continuing its buying spree and ending Hong Kong-based Acquity's short run as a U.S. public company.

Accenture is offering $13 per American Depositary Share for Acquity, which has helped consumer brands like McDonald's Corp. and Sears with strategy, social media and e-commerce. That's a whopping 118 percent premium over Friday's closing price.
