HIV-Positive Worker's Suit Against Ford Sent To Trial

Law360, New York (January 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has denied a bid by Ford Motor Credit Company to dismiss a lawsuit alleging the company violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to keep a worker's HIV diagnosis confidential.

In the decision Monday, Judge Aleta Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee said issues of the case, including whether supervisors at Ford inquired as to the worker's health, should be considered at trial.
