Law360, Wilmington (May 24, 2013, 5:09 PM ET) -- Reorganized media conglomerate Tribune Co. objected Thursday to a $20 million claim in its bankruptcy case made by the estate of the late former U.S. Rep. Parren Mitchell over a dismissed 2002 invasion of privacy lawsuit against the Baltimore Sun and two reporters, saying the claim has no merit.
Tribune, which owns the Sun, argued that the claim has no merit because the suit had already been tossed in the Maryland Circuit Court for failure to prosecute days before Mitchell's estate filed, and has no chance...
