Ghana Gives Tullow Green Light For Offshore Oil Project

Law360, New York (May 30, 2013, 6:44 PM EDT) -- The government of Ghana has given U.K.-based Tullow Oil PLC permission to develop its Tweneboa-Enyenra-Ntomme oil project about 40 miles off the country's cost, setting the tone for a 2016 delivery date, Tullow said Thursday.

Tullow is working with Kosmos Energy, Anadarko Petroleum, PetroSA and the Ghana National Petroleum Corp. to develop the TEN project in the Deepwater Tano Contract Area that the parties jointly own.
