Baxter Relators Can't Reopen $30M Price Inflation Suit

Law360, New York (May 31, 2013, 4:02 PM ET) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Friday blocked a bid by two relators to reopen a $29.8 million lawsuit in multidistrict litigation accusing pharmaceutical companies of reporting inflated average wholesale prices of drugs to Medicaid and Medicare, finding the court lacked jurisdiction due to the first-to-file rule.
