Judge Defines E-Mail Patent Claims In Visto Case

Law360, New York (January 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A magistrate judge has sorted out more than a dozen claim construction disputes stemming from Visto Corp.’s four patents at issue in its infringement case against Good Technology over e-mail synchronization devices.

Judge Charles Everingham determined the claim constructions on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, often relying upon prior claim construction rulings in Visto’s pending patent infringement case against Microsoft Corp. and Visto’s now settled case against Seven Networks Inc.
