ArcelorMittal Must Stop Repairs After Explosion, Judge Rules

Law360, Philadelphia (June 3, 2013, 2:43 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania judge ruled Friday that ArcelorMittal LLC must halt repairs to a melt shop that was the site of a May explosion in which three workers were injured, on the same day that the workers filed notice to sue the steel giant.

Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Leon Tucker granted the request of one of the three plaintiffs for an emergency motion and also ruled that the counsel for the plaintiffs could inspect the site of the explosion — the company’s Coatesville, Pa. facility...
