Ex-Goldman Trader Tourre Loses Bid To Pare SEC Case

Law360, New York (June 4, 2013, 7:25 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday refused to toss part of a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission case against Fabrice Tourre, a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader accused of participating in a $1 billion fraud against the company's clients.

U.S. District Judge Katherine Forrest denied Tourre's request to throw out a fraud claim the SEC brought against him under the Securities Act.
